Atlanta business formation aided by new program?

On behalf of Kaufman & Forman, P.C. | Aug 20, 2012 | Entrepreneurs |

Entrepreneurs in Atlanta will soon have a new program to help them as they get their start ups off the ground. The Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed, along with Invest Atlanta has announced a new program called Start Up Atlanta that is soon to be launched. The new program is designed to help local startup entrepreneurs with interacting, engaging, and creating new jobs and business opportunities. As entrepreneurs work through the business formation and launching processes, this new initiative may be a great tool.

Invest Atlanta is the economic development agency for the city of Atlanta. The Start Up Atlanta initiative hopes to bolster national and international recognition for entrepreneurship. With Start Up Atlanta, entrepreneurs will have better access to resources for starting a business. In addition, the program may help to provide resources on funding potential.

Mixing technology, innovation and networking, Start Up Atlanta will work to introduce new areas of the business ecosystem such as investment and talent, while also expanding areas currently in place. The program is not just for small start ups, but also for the Fortune 500 companies located in Atlanta, who can provide guidance and feedback for entrepreneurs. Overall, the program looks to partner organizations and businesses large and small and promote a healthier, more stable job economy for Atlanta.

Atlanta entrepreneurs may find that their chances for success are improved thanks to initiatives like this by the state. Start Up Atlanta illustrates how business-friendly Atlanta is, and that the city is dedicated to creating new jobs in the face of a tough economy. Because there are so many facets to starting a business, it may be beneficial for entrepreneurs to consider wise, experienced counsel as they prepare to launch their business. When agreements, contracts, or business formation paperwork becomes confusing or complicated, having a great team to help unravel the knots can make all the difference in business startup success.
