It appears that it might be a particularly good time to be an entrepreneur here in the Atlanta area. The city has recently shown a lot of positive movement on lists looking at startup conditions and activity in American metro areas.
For example, Atlanta made it into the top five metro areas for entrepreneurship growth in a recent report by the Kauffman Foundation. Atlanta was also among the metro areas that saw the biggest improvement in where they ranked on such growth in this year’s report as compared to the one from the previous year.
In a different list, this one by the U.S Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta was ranked among the hottest U.S. cities for tech startups. While it didn’t make the top five in this list, it did make the top 10. Specifically, it was given a rank of No. 6. This report also named Atlanta the “most improved” city when it comes to tech startup matters.
